National Mission for Clean Ganga (under Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India) organized Exhibitions “Ganga Connect” – Journey of Ganga Rejuvenation at the following locations in United Kingdom

  • Glasgow at City of Glasgow College : 8-10 November 2021
  • Cardiff at Cardiff University : 12-14 November 2021
  • Birmingham at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Hall : 15-17 November 2021
  • Oxford at Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development , Oxford University 18-19 November 2021M
  • High Commission of India at London, 23-25 November 2021

The Exhibition commenced with a message from Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, followed by panels on Panch Prayag , Upper, Middle and Lower Ganga. It also showcased interventions in Ganga basin by NMCG, UK-INDIA Partnerships in Ganga, UK Technologies in the Ganga Basin. Hon’ble Minister for Environment , Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, Mr Bhupender Yadav visited the Exhibition at Glasgow on 9th November 2021. The Exhibition at Cardiff was inaugurated by Mark Drakeford (First Minister of Wales) and Indian High Commissioner of India to UK. Exhibitions at all the venues were attended by senior officials from HCI, UK, NMCG & respective Universities as well as eminent members of the Indian Diaspora.

ITDC- Ashok Events was the official Event Manager on behalf of NMCG and undertook the curation, designing and fabrication of the Exhibitions including branding and signages at all venues in the 5 cities of the United Kingdom which was highly appreciated by all the visitors.
